Cornel Udofia who was once a Kakawa based newspaper/magazine agent recently had more than what he can chew when Friday Koja, one of the aides of the soccer star, Osaze Odemwingwe landed a slap on him when he breached the business contract between then recently. The event happened at the eating room of Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The incident which happened around 3:15 was a fall out of a supposed earlier agreement that Udofia should bring some journalists earlier in the day to interview the football star which Udofia failed to meet or was late for.

When Udofia later met Friday to help out with the appointment, he shouted angrily and said “That is Osaze, go and meet him. Don’t ever come near me again” and in a blink, he landed a slap on Udofia’s face.

Meanwhile, Osaze was bitter with the barbaric conduct of his aide and later apologised to the journalist, saying there was no concrete appointment. Still wonder why Udofia will parade himself as a media guru whereas he’s just a man in the street.

GOVERNOR BRF & THE ALLURE OF BOLI(ROASTED PLANTAIN)

We totally, totally love the picture above and just had to post it. It just shows how human & down to earth some of our leaders are. They always get overly cocooned once they get into office and don't get to do what we all just love to do.

Many who have gotten to certain levels in life, just seem to lose touch with reality after a while, pretending not to understand how ordinary people live anymore.

Love the concentration on my beloved Governor's face, the boli (roasted plantain) sure looks great from the picture. Is that roasted fish next to it? Hmmmmmmm Full package.

Home » News & Reports » News News and Reports Baba Suwe Loses N25 Million Award At The Court of Appeal

A panel of Court of Appeal judges in Lagos today set aside the N25 million compensatory damages earlier awarded Lagos comedian, Babatunde Omidina " Baba Suwe " over a prolonged detention by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) last year.
In the ruling, the Court of Appeal re-affirmed the right of the NDLEA to investigate, arrest, detain and prosecute drug suspects as long as the agency acts within the law.
The court said the NDLEA had not violated Mr. Omidina's rights because it sought and got court orders from the federal high court to keep him in custody after the arrested him on the suspicion that he had ingested hard drugs.
The Court of Appeal came down heavily on the Lagos High court judge that awarded the damages against the NDLEA, describing the decision as oppressive and burdensome to an agency of government carrying out its statutory duties.
Baba Suwe's attorneys led by civil rights activist, Bamidele Aturu,  has vowed to take the matter before the Supreme Court.

Uncle Yinka needs about N6million to undergo urgent treatment in India or the UK or else he will not walk again. We need to help this practitioner with ideas get his groove back. No amount of assistance will be too small.

Donations can be sent to- UBA, savings-2000204307 Olayinka Ogundaisi, Ilupeju branch. God bless you. He can be reached on 08023244456. God bless as we mobilize and use our various platforms to mobilize support for him.

According to sources, 61years old Ogundaisi who underwent a hernia operation few months back, got the spinal injury from a fall on concrete slab in Lagos. After the incident, Ogundaisi said he could no longer stand up or walk.
“I still have other health challenges, particularly in the spine, which has made it impossible for me to stand up or walk. That is the major issue for now. Until that is resolved, my standing or my walking normally cannot be totally achieved,” he told National Mirror months back.
“I was made to go through series of tests, including what they call MRI at LUTH. The MRI itself is not conclusive; it just raises the suspicion that there is a tumour, but what kind of tumour? They couldn’t decide.
If this operation is not done quickly, the illness may well become terminal. There is a tumour in my leg nerves and the safe removal of this tumour and correction of my spinal injury is the reason it has become necessary to travel abroad,” he stated.
